About Me

Hello, I'm Michael, a dedicated physical therapist with a diverse background in healthcare and a passion for improving client quality of life and independence. I earned my Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta, and for nearly a decade, I've had the privilege of working in acute care settings, home care and a rehabilitation hospital. I have provided specialized care to individuals recovering from a variety of injuries and medical conditions, primarily in the older adult population and also in surgical rehabilitation.

Beyond my professional life, I am a proud father of three and husband who values family, time well spent together and being active outside. It is important to me that I understand your goals in rehabilitation, so that we can work on meeting milestones that improve quality of life, reduce pain and allow more independence and joy in day-to-day living.

Bringing physiotherapy into your home not only reduces barriers associated with travel to a clinic, and saves you time, but more importantly provides context for your physical therapy needs. Namely, what factors affect your healing and independence, as well as what contributes to your quality of life. Working together in your home environment allows for a tailored rehabilitation plan that is individualized to promote effective physical therapy.
